Taking God at His Word.
The process by which we understand how God makes himself known is important. How does God reveal himself? And how does this impact the way we go about our children’s and youth ministry? Rev Dr Mark Thompson (Principal, Moore College, Sydney) invited us to think about the Doctrine of Revelation, and how this key doctrine should influence both our youth ministry theory and practice.
Mark writes, “My great passion is to see men and women equipped in understanding, character, conviction and skill for the remarkable privilege of participating in God’s great mission of bringing men and women from every nation into the kingdom of his Son.” He is married to Kathryn, and they have four daughters: Elizabeth, Anna, Rachel and Mary. He enjoys family life, friendship, reading, movies, gentle exercise and meeting with God’s people at St Andrew’s Cathedral on Sundays.
